Mary Mulari - Chatterbox Apron Pattern

Inspired by a drawing of a vintage apron, the reversible Chatterbox Apron features a sweetheart neckline and an umbrella hemline, with pockets on each side panel. The apron side panels are assembled first and inserted into the sides of the front panel and topstitched in place. The neck strap opens and closes with Velcro®. Use fabric ties or two 1 yard lengths of grosgrain ribbon for the apron strings. Decorate the apron center front and/or the pockets with appliques, monograms, or machine embroideries. Two 1 yard pieces of cotton fabric are required for this pattern, or just for fun, use a combination of coordinating fabrics for the neck trim and straps as well as the apron bodies.
